alright been a while since ive updated this. thanks guys for the compliments i love the stance too. Ive had like 5 different people say it looks like the bat-bike from the new batman movies. i gotta say it kinda does B) B) (kinda) anyway ive got a lot of fab work done since last check-in. relocated the kickstand, welded in some bungs for the rearsets, built a tray for the battery and electronics that fits up nicely under the tailpiece. and i came up with a stealthy tank mount that gets rid of the ugly ear that these tanks use to mount the back. anyway here are some bad photos I took

I believe I saw this bike on-line and it was built and sent to Japan with a price tag of $42'000 USD.

here is how to measure the offset for offset countershaft sprockets.

with a stock front (countershaft) sprocket mounted.
project a straight line forward from the back side of the rear sprocket and measure the difference between the back of the front sprocket and the line you projected forward.
that will be the offset needed to get a straight chain run.

well, I got some stuff donr this weekend. made some headlight brackets for the V-rod headlight, and tweaked the guage mount to get it to sit where I like it. made up my plug wires (Taylor Thundervolt 50's) friggin thick wires B) and I started wiring. I gotta say, I love the m unit. All it looks for is a ground from the switch to the input side. gotta love solid state technology.

The V-Rod light looks great! Are there any troubles wiring it in, or is it pretty standard? Are you posting your wiring diagram with the M-Unit? Looks awesome, how long do you think before you can fire it up?

Ya I saw the vrod headlight on another build and havnt seen one I liked as much since. It wires up easily, 1 common ground one high one low wire.Hopefully have it running by the end of the week (not rideable tho) and I drew up a wiring diagram but it looks kinda childish so Idk if I want it seen haha.
