I found this, like the infamous Sanctuary fender eliminator, but made by PMC in Japan. I don't see much bracing, but seems close to what I ended up building other than the taillight piece. Anyone have this kit installed? Feedback?

Cory

Z1 Enterprises stocks that kit: www.z1enterprises.com/ItemDetails.aspx?item=PHFEK1

That is good to know, but was more looking for feedback as to ask if anyone has had this kit fail? It seems to be a small group of people that had failures with out significant bracing, material thickness, etc... I know this kit seems to be popular, and shows very little bracing and is made out of aluminum. Curious as to how it is holding up. Anyway, probable a mute point now.... will run mine and add the licence plate mount and call it a day.

So looky what showed up......my Ducati slave cylinder.

So you can see it is AWFULLY close to fitting the stock cover boss dimensions. Looks like I need to bore the stock hole diameter about .125" and slightly elongate the mounting ear holes. The last thing, I would have to slot the cover for the side line connection. The nice thing is the bleeder is built into the slave fitting. Let you know hoe it goes.

Hi, interested in your mods, I considered doing this before but I wanted to keep it close to standard look but with a modern feel.
Anyway, you might be curious that I have a hydraulic clutch using the zx1100 master and the GPZ (ZX900R) slave, no mods were required to the side cover, and the old system can be re-fitted (not that I'd want to), all that was required was a 3mm aluminium (for the yanks aluminum) plate made as an adapter (took an hour to make), a slight file was required to the slave and there it was - too simple.

Boz,

Yeah, feel free to send me any pics you have. Looking at the parts fische for the ZX-9R (I chose 1985) the slave looks an aweful lot like my ZRX1100 slave, but I checked the where used on Kawasaki.com and they are not coming up the same. I would be interested to see what you have done.

i put a zrx slave inside a stock cover. I just cut an adaptor plate from aluminum and it worked fine. I have since bought a zx9 slave because it uses 2 rather than 3 bolts for attachment.

The zrx11/12 znd zx9/11/12 masters (brake and clutch) seem to be all the same.

Mark,

Yeah Saxjon sent me those pics you had taken, although I couldn't find your thread. I still like the idea of the Ducati cylinder slipping into the stock cover and aligning up with the pushrod via the cover bore. It is good to see you got the ZRX master to work.
