I agree but if he were to stick with the current bodywork a gray to match the paint would be killer IMHO.

true wayne.

but,

he has plans to have two sets of bodywork that he can change out on a whim.

silver and gray go with many color schemes, but black goes with everything.

first off. the bike looks frickin beautiful. really like that pipe and the short silencer. as far as the rear hanger I agree with some of the previous posts. either paint it black to make it fade away or maybe tuck it some where closer to the peg.I know it would be hard to want to weld on a new pipe but, maybe put a tab on the back side on the inside of the frame behind the collector out of sight.

Beautiful workmanship Rich! Love the PMC covers also. Do you have any ideas on what your going to do to cover your starter? Also where did you get your stacks from? I have the same RS carbs and have never seen your type before, the stacks I have are made by Mikuni and are anodized dull silver. I tried to get the anodizing off with a flapwheel on my Dremel but the anodizing is WICKED tough to remove (I wanted to polish them).

Fantastic looking bike Rich!

Cheers, Doug

Thanks Zedone , you can remove the anodized coating from your velocity stacks with sodium hydroxide and water , which is found in house hold LYE used to unclog drains , floor stripper , and some oven cleaners , it works very quickly so you don't want to leave them in there long ,just a few seconds then rinse them with just water . make sure to use gloves and safty glasses. My stacks are from steel dragon . As far as the starter cover is concerned I'll fab a cover when I get finished with the frame,I hope to be completely finished by the fall . Thanks again

I'll have to try that on the anodizing. Thanks!
