The levers are Titax and are a european made MotoGP supplier. But they're not that different from ASV / Pazzo stuff. Just don't go for cheap chinese CNC stuff - its all made of cheese.

And obviously make sure they are correct fit for the brake cylinder / clutch set you are using. Mine are from a 2006 636 Ninja.

As for CV carbs & pods, I have Mikuni BS34s and K&N dual flange pods, and my carbs are actually very easy to live with...

Exhaust is being made as we speak by these guys. In the UK, as good as it gets if you want a Z exhaust.

Mine will be a 3-into-1 Harris replica from stainless steel. He also does them in Titanium which I was very close to choosing but as I wanted it black, I think would be a shame - also twice the price.

Where did you find your two button switch I have seen several of those around but can not seem to find where to buy one...

Hi all.

So my 'turn' has finally come round at ExhaustCraft (the guys making my exhaust from S/S) and they've started on the down pipes.






I'm pretty certain I just want the short Harris style silencer but am undecided on position and the guys are too far form me to go up for a play.

Any ideas before I press fire?

A lot would depend on your stance/ suspension, but ground clearance would be one issue I would be watching. The Tri-Y design adds a bit of torque through the power band, extra scavenging. Hard to fit it in a bike though.
Very nice getting a custom built system. Whats the estimate on cost?

£500 in Stainless with any kind of silencer style you want - Harris / Kerker etc etc.

£1000 in Titanium.

I wanted to go Ti - but also want black pipes - shame to coat Ti pipes black - if even possible.

All the way in Australia - its the only one I could find thats direct mount (no bracket or hose) and is also small and clean.

Exhaust arrived a yesterday and I was straight on the test fit.






Dave @ ExhaustCraft built this without the bike and despite my faffing around with silencer positioning etc he did a great job and it actually fits pretty good - its only held on with zip ties at the mo as the collars are drilled for 6mm studs and I have 8mm fitted but I'll figure that out.

Thoughts on fit?








Only issue is that to black chrome / paint it I need to remove the spring tabs as otherwise I can't slide the collars off to get the pipes done. You don't need the springs apparently but I quite like the look so not sure what to do there.

Worth going Black? Its been the vision all along but its looks okay in raw brushed steel too. Less pretty but looks tougher maybe.
