we haven't had state inspections for several years. 01 or 02 was the last year for inspections.we have plenty of un-documented workers, hell you would think it was texas up here.haha.
they don't seem to bother with inspecting your vehicle, even when you have been pulled over for something else.it would have to be something blatant before they would actually pull you over.
hell we got good ol boys runnin around with straight stacks up through th bed of there diesel pickups.nobody messes with them.

The Koso gauges are excellent looking, but I'll stick with my Acewell, $200 to the door with my speedo pickup included.

What's the deal with the Koso speed pickup? Magnet only?

I'm not sure about the speedo pickup, but I will say this much. I have a magnet pickup speedo on my roadrace bicycle, and that thing is deadnuts accurate. I even thought about installing one of those bicycle speedos on the KZ, soo small that you could hide it really well. The only thing wrong with them is that the backlight won't stay on. You have to know which button to press to get the light on.

the www.trailtech.net/vapor.html is a more affordable option that gives several features.

Leon, do you know if that has a backlight? I like the looks of those little gauges. Nice option with the dasboard that has the indicator lights.

testa,as soon as you roll the bike(if the speedo is hooked up)or the vapor senses current it lights up and is very visible in day and night.i have one and don't have the speedo hooked up yet,but do have the tach hooked up and the temp gauge hooked to a bolt on my valve cover for relative readings.i like the clock also.
it also stores stuff like max rpm,max top speed.

it can be set as a bar graph or as a numerical readout either way it is very visible and doesn't wash out in the sun.

Nice job on the gauge mounts Josh. i like the lower position)
i thought about using longer bolts to lower mine as well, but never got to it.

nice job on the fabrication to use all the stock stuff. I would try to use stock but didnt get it with bike and, on my bike it looks like a HUGE box..what is the price of the vapor compared to the acewell?and I think testa asked if visible in the sun?
