1075 kit with cams...

I bought this bike last year with the idea of riding it while I tore my 79 ltd apart to do some serious restoration/modifications to it. First thing I noticed I had to repair was the broken exhaust stud which I noticed someone had already been there and broke a bit inside while trying to remove the broken stud. I wasn't happy about the fact I would have to have the head removed to get it fixed but resigned myself to riding it the way it was as it seemed to work just fine. Turns out the bike had a blown head gasket from someone overfilling the oil in it so I figured I would just ride it until it got worse or until winter was upon us.
Well I got the head off of it and figured why not put a 1075 with some nice cams in it and call it a day. Now I got the bug to fix both bikes up. Here are some pics of the bike.

The exhaust stud is going to get repaired tomorrow and hopefully the valve job and head/sleeve bore should be done shortly after. The Jayco pistons and cams will be in soon and hopefully it will get finished and the custom chromoly swingarm 2" over will be fitted. Should make the bike run and handle much better.

Lawrence it is looking like mine.......lol, only mine is down to the frame, im takin the motor out tommorow. I have a 1075 kit for mine, im toying around the idea of throwing it in this winter or waiting till next. Cant wait till it's nice and we can ride together.

I'm hoping to do the same with mine. HOPING! :laugh: Maybe if winter holds out long enough.

Ok, my tears was from the pain..... knuckle buster, busting a hole in my cases, MRE screwing me on their work etc...
