Well now that i looked at this bike all winter, i realized i need to make the wiring on this thing simpler. I just want headlight, tail light, speedo and tach, and the idiot lights. Im not that hot with the wiring aspect, in fact is suck at it:laugh:  . Maby loudhvx could talk me threw it.

Im also going to take the stock tank off and that wiil be replaced by a sportster tank, i have to perminatly mount the rear fender. Then its going to get a flat black paint job.

Well today, i cut the stock mufflers off the stock head pipes, they were completley rotted out and missing the baffles. I put on a set of mac megaphone mufflers. In the next week or so, im going to tackle the wiring, and get the rear fender mounted perminatly. Im thinking about incorperating the rear fender into the seat some how.

Ok, so i spent most of the day today mounting the stock head pipes and aftermarket MAC mufflers. Just to find out they were pointing strait down and hitting the ground:angry:   . So i took the struts off and replaced them with the stock shocks. Then i stood and looked at it for a bit, and you know what? It looked really good, and to boot the pipes fit and looked so much better. I took it for a quick spin, and the handiling is so much better, and i don't scrape going around corners, and im not in agonizing pain when i get off........god, i think im getting old........i dont want it to be loud, and i like the shocks in the back.......oh wait that is just me thinking strait....lol:laugh:   . All i have to do now is figure out how to mount the mufflers, seeing as i cut off the rear foot rest mounts were they originaly mounted to.

So my idea now is to track down a stock seat, i really dont care if the cover and foam is shot because im going to cut it down and re-cover it myself, all i need is the pan to be solid. Im not running a rear fender so i will probally fabricate a cover to take up the gap were the rear fender was originaly mounted, and tuck the tail light under there. I dunno if im making much since. I just found my camera so i will take a picture of how the bike currently sits. Ok, i went to turn on my camera and its dead:angry:   ......why not, right???. i will take some pics when it is charged, either later tonight or tommorow before i head of to work. Right now, the bike actually looks a little street fighter-ish i guess is the only way to describe it.
