Well i forgot to tell ya guys, the other day i was pushing it out of the garage to work on it.......then it happened. It fell over, and the base of the kicker punched a hole in the clutch cover the size of a quarter. So ebay to the rescue again. Anyway, i got the new one on today, everything is good. Tommorow i am going to bolt the tail light on, run the clutch cable and plum the front brake, then i might actually get to ride this beast i built................scarry isnt it:laugh:      ....lol

Well, no ride today, because it was raining out. But it RUNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One kick and she fired to life. Its all done, now i just need to get sometime when it's not raining, to give her a shakedown run to make sure everything is peachy.

excellent nice to see that old bessie has come to life. ride her for awile and see what vibrates off then make those pieces stronger half the fun of building old bikes is gathering up the parts that come off and telling the story later. i rode hard tail choppers for a couple of years and ended up with a big collection of parts that did quite hold up. i'd ride for 2 hours and wrench for 6 but hey it was fun right.

Ya i was happy when she fired up, but gawd is she loud with the drag pipes. I cant wait to get a good day to take her out and let it rip. Even my pure harley nebhor came over and said it looked and sounded good. The only problem i had when i started it was the fuel line for carb #2 was kinked and it was only running on 1 cylender, but moving the fuel line up a bit cleared it up. After a bit of spitting and popping she cleared up nice.

you haven't ridden it then yet. when you ride it back home with those pipes you might have to get about a block away get in high gear then pull the clutch in and coast home so you don't piss off the neighbors to bad. the ones a couple of blocks away don't matter right. by the way more pictures please. i'm starting to sound like some other people around here.

I rode it today, it was 32 degrees, and i was cold as hell but i rode it. Alone frome the side mount plate holder loosining up and almost falling off she rode good. She is loud ass piss and has good power........well as much power as you can have with a kz 400:laugh:    :P  :cheer: B) . I did get a thumbs up from the local police when i went by. I also got into a half hour chat with a harley dude that thought my little jap chop was awsome looking, so that was cool. Still a bit of tunning to do along with some lock washers for the sidemount and she will be ready to rock. I finnaly found a job for my friend with no ambition, he can follow me when i test ride the bikes i build, incase i break down or anything falls off.....lol.....    :side: :woohoo: :silly:  :side: :woohoo: :silly:
