Makeup race is Sat. Dec. 5th so I guess I need to do an oil change,
swap rear sprocket, battery on the tender then wash it.

Zukiworks racing ported head.
VM 29 smooth bore's.
Dyna 2000 Ign. w/Dyna mini coil's
APE cylinder stud's and nut's.
APE valve spring's.

3.5x18 laced to a KZ1000 disk hub.

Steve its hard to pic as most trips its just Vickie and me
and with her health issues she can't spend much time out in the heat and sunbut we're turning cooler so that'll help.

Ordered the air shifter setup and the software kit for dyna 2000 box. today
should be here mid. week.

Right on, I won a clutch cover that had the actuator in it. It's in excelent shape. I'm going to follow your lead and extend the arm 1/4". Should make the pull easier and maybe the cables will last longer.

I see no reason making the arm longer would not work in your motor
other then some side load on the inner cable coming out of the adjuster in the case.
With my cable end on a bracket out side the motor I can bend it and aim the cable straight
but with yours being fixed in the cover you can't do that.

I'll keep that in mind while I have it off. If it doesn't work I'll still have a polished cover and a new worm casing. The KZ 900 cable holder is slightly longer than the Z1. I had to adjust for the slack caused by it. Maybe I'll keep it and use the KZ one for this experiment. They're both steel.

Thinking I need to check valve clearance so thinking I'm gonna swap the
exh. cam for the spare intake cam I've got while I'm in there.

Got the software kit the other day and for some reason it will
not load on my laptop I've tried from the disk and from Dyna's website
talked to tech support about seven times and still won't work.

From Dyna's site I can down load the software for the 2000SE model
with no issue but not the 2000 stuff. the install wizard loads then it stops loading.
