I'm making plans to build up the engine for my 82 GPz750 and was wondering if anyone offers a kit with EVERYTHING needed to button it all up again. I've found gasket kits with some seals, Seal kits with no o-rings and o-ring kits that don't have the oil pan rings.

I realize i might have to bore out my sleeves so it doesn't have to have a head gasket. It would just be nice to one stop shop everything else.

And what's up with the Cometic web site? I know they have KZ head gaskets but you can't search for them. They only have a handful of dirt bikes to choose from in the drop down search menu, Very annoying.

I'm sounding like a broken record on this issue but OEM Kawasaki gaskets are the best. No comparison really. Only possible exception is viton valve stem seals. Your choice in the end though.

I prefer MLS gaskets for the head on any bike, you must have a mirror clean surface though... They were stock on the later ZR7 which uses the same engine... Here, have a read....

Fair enough.

Kawasaki evolved the head gaskets on that family of engines quite a bit from the 650 days. The version I ordered was composite, but with an RTV skin to improve sealing. MLS sounds fine. Better have good gasket surfaces though as you say.

Is there somewhere you can buy the complete set?

Nope. You gotta order individual parts. I look for the more expensive items, like head gaskets, on ebay and get everything else from a source like Partzilla.

I recall reading a while back in a thread or 2 that someone on here sold viton valve guide seals.

I'm aware of that. I was thinking that I had seen that one of the members here sold them.
