make sure to get the MLS gasket from the late zephyr / ZR7 models,

the other gaskets can be reused without problems

...from anyone in particular?

...when you say, "other gaskets," I'm not sure what you mean.

Kawasaki went to MLS head gaskets years ago, and since the ZR7 is a late model (2000 or so) air cooled 750 motor they used MLS head gaskets which also fit the other air cooled 750 motors.

Probably available for the J motors also, since they were made through 2005.

...sooooo, what would be the best place to get these MLS gaskets? Dealer, Internet, FleeBay? Where to buy without getting raped? Or, doesn't it matter, they're all the same?

i use them in my 810/12:1 comp/90rwhp road race motor without even a hint of a leak after two race seasons.

krazy,

by other gaskets i meant the cam cover rubber, cam end half moons, o-rings, i simply reuse them with sealant

google part number 11004-1342 and you'll get plenty of sources. its a std kawasaki part

i bought mine from cheapcycleparts.com , but you can also try z1enterprises.com who support our site :)

The OEM Kawasaki MLS head gaskets are used in the 200+ hp 750 Turbo bikes. Next step up is copper gasket with O-rings.
