Ok bitches, I got some pics for you!!! and they are happy ones of some carnage! :woohoo: So no, I didn't get the rotor off yet, but the big thing that was stopping me from cutting the rotor off was the sprocket that was just as stuck. I took my die grinder and had to cut the nut off. I thought if I just cut one side right off, then it would pop off. Sure enough I had to cut the other side of the nut, essentially splitting it into 2 pieces almost just to get the damn thing off!

So I will post in a while when I get the rotor cut off. In the meantime I am prepping and painting.

And that protective goggles were worn if using Dremmel tool with grinder wheel bit (easily shattered).

Were the parts accessible to die grinder?

Glad to hear the sprocket's off. :cheer:

I didn't cut the splines, I made sure to keep the output shaft intact so I didn't need to get another one. The thread on the shaft has a slight "cut" so that I could go through the nut, but it is really shallow and essentially not there. My air die grinder got in no problem, and I did wear protective glasses and made sure to do the cutting before any painting to keep from having my home explode from fumes catching on fire. I am glad too, when I took the shifter mechanism cover off I looked like this: :)

put the motor in the bike put a chain on the motor put the bike in gear...sprayed it over night...used a big air ratchet and the compressor cranked to max p.s.i and a hard socket....

oh and i would have bought a stock motor that ran ...for 100

oh and i would not be stripping a motor to the crank in the first place.....

even if all that did not work....i would have thrown the motor on the seat of my beater civic stopped by an a.t.m and taken out 150 and went to this guy who is a machine/welding shop...then went home and slept and went back the next day to get my motor.....

just kidding..i would have used a cut off disk like it shows in the manual...nice work
