"Ad says"-- Meaning:

“ran when parked”-- I did absolutely nothing to store it properly
“will run”-- won’t run
“trades welcome”-- I’ll take anything, get this thing out of here
“kicks over nicely”-- the rings are shot
“engine turns over freely”-- the rings are shot
“bill of sale provided”-- it’s stolen
“Nevada title”-- it’s stolen
“getting a title won’t be a problem”-- good luck getting a title
“$2000.00 firm”-- I’ll take $1500
“needs a little TLC”-- nobody has ever lifted a finger to maintain this thing
“engine is stuck"- forget it
“future collectable”-- this piece of crap will never be worth anything
“rare”-- you won’t be able to find parts
“ride it home”-- bring the truck
“carbs need cleaning”-- needs a hell of lot more than carb cleaning
“good parts bike”-- crap that was left over from my last build
