Don't see a strong correlation between ruling party and inflation - no matter who's in charge, overwhelming odds are that your money's going to keep losing value.
Over the course of Reagan's presidency a dollar became 73 cents. I think that - as usual - anyone blaming a president or party is doing exactly what they want you to do.

What is the graph at the very bottom?
Also, there appears to be a dramatic drop in inflation between 1981 and 1993, the Reagan - Bush years.

Probably cpi -In that chart, does Annual Change refer to the value of a dollar against some constant?
What is the graph at the very bottom?
The Federal reserve has something called the consumer price index (cpi) which tracks the price of various items.
However food and fuel are not included in the cpi so the price of bananas could go from 58 cents per pound to $42 for half a banana and the Federal reserve would say there is no inflation.
Same for gasoline, gasoline could go to $44 per gallon and the Federal reserve would say there is no inflation.
This chart and other charts you find on the internet under report inflation because they do not track the real inflation rate of things people buy.
The real inflation rate from 1941 to 2020 is *24, $500*24(1941) = $12k(2020)
The real inflation rate from 1973 to 2020 is *6, $2000*6(1973) = $12k(2020)
The chart comes from here -

There was high inflation in the late 1970'sAlso, there appears to be a dramatic drop in inflation between 1981 and 1993, the Reagan - Bush years.
Paul Volcker, head of Federal reserve, raised the interest rate to 22% in 1981 which stopped run away inflation.
He died recently in December 2019.

Does the Goldman Sachs give him a good price ?
Of course not they are the Goldman Sachs, they make their living ripping off the American people.
Is this an episode of the Twilight zone ?
I don't think so.

Alan Grayson asks Bernanke - Which foreigners received the $553 billion (yes billion).
Bernanke gives a vague reply and at one point says I don't know.
The "Federal reserve" is a private corporation (not part of the federal government) and they don't have any reserves.
They have been doing a fine job destroying the value (purchasing power) of the American dollar for 109 years.

Amazon is pretty easy to use as a small seller. HOWEVER, you need to be very careful with how you set up your inventory; you're going to want to keep the inventory at your own storage facility and mail it out directly rather than relying on Amazons logistics. Most new parts and accessories selling on E-bay can also be found on Amazon. But not used parts. Do you have to be a big time operation to sell on Amazon?
The reason is that a few years ago, Amazon warehouses started combining inventories of sellers.
Seller A buys widget X and sends it to the amazon warehouse for storage and to allow amazon to handle shipping.
Seller B buys widget X as well and sends it to the amazon warehouse for storage.
Amazon combines both Seller A's and Seller B's widget X stocks into one large container for widget X.
Seller C knows this and buys counterfeit widget X's for cents on the dollar and sends them to the amazon warehouse where they're mixed in with the real widget X's.
Now no matter which seller you buy widget X from (A, B, or C), you have a 33% chance of getting a counterfeit widget.

Did by some plastic for my 636 last week . It was in Florida and im in New England . Fed ex wanted 400 to ship . It only weighed 28 pds . Usps wanted 360 . Ended up going with greyhound and it was 106 . I do have to go pick it up but for the price cant beat it . They actually let me pay online and i just emailed the tag so all the guyhad to do was drop it off . Guy said it was super easy only took 5 min guy scanned the tag and took it . So that is one option if you are dealing with a private seller .
