Looking at purchasing a low mile 83 ZX1100 that is in great condition with exception of the body decal stripes on the gas tank and side covers.
I have located replacement decals in the UK, via ebay of course.
Is there a recommended way to remove the original graphic decals without damaging the finish beneath?

Heat gun or hair dryer on low using the blank spots as a pattern.

If I do end up with this old factory hot rod, I don't want to damage what looks like a pristine paint finish in the potential PO's pics he sent me.
Not sure how long I'll tolerate just looking at the thing sitting in my garage, or/and if my wonderful wife has something to say about it.
So far we're good. :whistle:

Havent used them myself but have heard these guys have quality decals from guys who have used them .
