Well, after 5 seasons of racing my GPZ750/810, this weekend was officially the last race for her.
A happy ending though, as I finally managed to bring home a medal, the Italian 2015 Open Class Vintage vice-champion title
Wasnt an easy affair, took a good two seasons to get her (and rider) up to speed, but this last season was really the best, collecting silverware at almost every race. In the last one i had a super fun dice with a french guy on a KZ1000 of all things.
Cant stress just how super reliable she has been. After buttoning up the motor five years ago, never opened it again! A good 30 races later, with the engine often kissing 12,000 rpm, and it hardly uses any oil. Almost unbelievable.
Here I am (orange shirt) with my podium buddies.

I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.

next bike, already up and running actually, is a supermono racer, An XTZ660 single motor taken out to 700 in a TZ250 GP frame.
not sure about the old bike, i sold only one in all my life, kept all the rest (and i have been riding for about 38 years )
might sell the gpz at the end but it would need a nice restore to make it look good, has plenty of battle scars now
