Trying to tune top end my kz 1000j in a tractor pull this is a picture of my plug wide open top end.well about 7000 rpm with a small flutter.what do you think. I need some advise if anybody could help me out. Stock motor with open pipe stock main jets, with bigger pilots!!!

would say it's fine, even if it's a bit on the edge of lean....
maybe go +2 to +5 on the mains and see if you get more of a grey ring on the bottom of the insulator?
not a tractor pull expert by any means, just a road racer....

Zukiworks racing ported head.
VM 29 smooth bore's.
Dyna 2000 Ign. w/Dyna mini coil's
APE cylinder stud's and nut's.
APE valve spring's.
APE Track King clutch.
V/H KZ1000 sidewinder.
3.5x18 laced to a KZ1000 disk hub.
150/60/18 Shinko 006 Podium.
63" wheel base.

To me it's lean go up two size on the main jet's.
Also with this ethanol blended fuel it does not color plugs like gas did back
when these old KZ's were built.
