Will this oil pressure gauge work?

I want to measure the pressure before replacing anything.
I haven't found mention of the thread sizes for either the main oil passage plug or the oil sender switch.
Will this work? I believe it comes with 1/8 and 1/4" NPT fittings.

I don't plan on permanently mounting it. Probably strapping it somewhere with wire or some other kludgy method just so I can go for a test ride and monitor oil pressure.
I'll go ahead and get the gauge and to see what I'm dealing with.

You could order one like ours on eBay. Higher pressure though. I have two. One down there and on on my dash. The lower one works all the time the other one doesn't. Too low pressure on the big Z's.
Jon, that gasket is ON there. No sealant?

As for the oil pressure gauge, look for one that is for motorcycles. You don't need anything that reads over 15 PSI.
Steve- yes the gasket is on there. I like to use copper coat on both sides of the gasket. Is it not needed?

I don't use sealant normally. If in doubt I will.
