Clutch Basket Tool

From what I've read, there's the tool that holds the basket or can weld my own. Don't have a welder so thats out of the question. My concern is if I buy the tool, I still won't have enough leverage to pop it off. Using a breaker bar with a pipe on the end. Thing has not moved one bit.
Any ideas/thoughts? Thanks

Otherwise welding a handle to a steel clutch plate should work for a tool; but you stated you dont have a welder

Having done this a few times now, as above, don't lever it off, shake it off with an air tool. You are best off loosening this nut before removing the motor from the frame. Replace with a new one, the threads deform on tightening.

I bought a ebc tool off of ebay that's a clutch plate with a handle for around 17 bucks over this winter (feels HD)and picked up a electric impact wrench from Harbor freight for this exact job.
Your suppose to replace the front and rear thrust washers also along with the nut.

Vance and Hines Header w/ comp baffle and Ape pods, Dyna S and green coils, copper wires.
29MM smooth bores W/ 17.5 pilots, 0-6s and 117.5 main
16/42 gearing X ring chain and alum rear JT sprocket.

A new or used electric impact wrench can be found for less than $50 and it will save a lot of time and frustration.

It works great and for less than $20 I can use it on all my motorcycles / dirt bikes.
Don't forget, You can use an impact to get the nut off but you still need to hold the basket while you torque the nut back on...

I will break down and buy the tool. I feel like I'll be using it again anyways. I've notice a couple different model numbers from EBC, but look identical. Any insight on that one?

On a side note, I borrowed a friends air impact gun and that didn't move the nut at all! Even heated it up some, still didn't budget. But the tank is so small, each time I tried, probably got about 45 seconds of use before the compressor was basically empty.
