Hi guys, bit of a long shot I know but does anybody have a set of 74 or 75mm "J" model pistons with 17mm wrist pins that are usable and sensible money ??

Hi Guy, I think I can help you out there.
I swopped the top end of my 1000j to Gpz1100. Flogged the 1000 barrels but sure I've still got the stock pistons in the parts bins some place. I think the 1000j bore is 69.4 though? Def 17mm pins although mine appear to be 72mm with 17's.
I'll go digging and mail you some pics when I find them. Might even have decent rings on them.

Thanks Warren, stock 1100 is 72.5mm but the 1100uni block I have has one rusty bore so I need either 74mm (1135) or 75mm (1170)

My current plan is to repurpose the carbs, Dyna 2000, chrome (and cam) covers, UNI cams(?), cyl head(?), generator components, clutch pack, and exhaust system...to the ZN motor going in.

So today is one of those "good days to be on this planet" when I reached out on Sunday it was "a bit of a punt" so I was pleasantly surprised when Warren came back to me 10 mins later (followed with an email) with an offer of assistance. Now I was confused as a "J" is 69.4mm and the 1100's are 72.5mm but the pistons offered by Warren where 72mm
anyway when I looked at the pictures Warren sent I got a bit of a tingle in my "tingely place" so a deal was done and the pistons turned up this morning (thanks Warren). Having cleaned one up I am 99.9% sure that my suspicions were correct and what I have received is a Wiseco 1075 kit
so the 1100 uni block can go back to sleep and I will run with these gems in my 1000 block.
PS: Warren I said that if my suspicions were correct I would forward additional funds which I have done (I have factored in for new rings and clips) thank you so much, they have gone to a good home

Your welcome Guy, like I said they were of no use to me so glad you could put them to good use.

If I'm not mistaken those are the old style pistons (discontinued). I had the K1015's and they ran great until I lunched one.
I think the new style rings will fit the old style. I'll check later.
