Stuck tappet/bucket

• Good Morning! If You get in a pickle and find something not suitable with the (2?) heads in your possession let me know, I've got a spare LTD750 82-83 head down in the outbuilding taking-up space. Have had it for years but haven't really looked at for years either. Of course it's not black like the E model, natural color.

Have to go wake the chickens up in a bit so i'll drive down to the building and pull it out and take back up to the garage where there's more suitable light and have a better look. I'll have Marty, when he has time, relay some pictures to You thru this topic. If it's what i deem suitable as a replacement, from memory i believe it is. If all goes as expected say actual shipping +20 bucks USD. The 20 covers boxing and a trip into town. Have You checked ebay, just curious?

Ok, got it pulled out and looking it over. Marty will be posting the pics for me whenever he gets a chance here on this thread i'm assuming. Noticed a broken/missing top rear fin chunk missing, you'll see it in the pic with my finger pointing to it. All original cam caps intact and good cam journal surfaces as well as the #2, 3, 6. and 7 cam thrust side surfaces. It's a gooey dusty mess. Because it's pending inclement weather i don't want to fire up the power washer. Have a look at the pics when they arrive and let me know.

Thats no problem, as long as the buckets can be removed. I can clean it up and get it in working condition

Buckets aren't a problem nor valves as they have already been removed, just a bare head.
