According to the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency's online The World Factbook (2016), the only countries that have not adopted the metric system are Myanmar (also known as Burma), Liberia, and the United States.

I’ll admit it, the metric system is much easier on my brain. The imperial system is flat out dumb. Or at least outmoded.
When was the last time you measured anything in "cubits"? Which is ABOUT 18 inches, the average distance from a man’s elbow to the tip of his middle finger.
(Actually, I use this quite a bit rough measuring things when I don’t have my tape measure handy.)

My son is a Ford master mechanic and every time he guesses at a bolt size it’s away metric (10mm/12mm) first never inch/standard. I’m still like, looks like a 7/16” to me, if I toss out 9/32” I get the deer in the headlight stare.

Don't forget 3/4" and 1" in the HGV world. In my bus days we had a 1" drive two handed impact gun for wheel nuts (that bad boy would break your wrist if you didn't hang on tight)
