Don't know the figure but do know you won't be picking up on your own unless your Geoff capes. It took two of us to lift mine off the bench onto the floor ready to put in the frame.

It wouldn't be much different than a KZ1015 engine.  I don't know the weight but I can muscle the cases into a frame by myself.  That's minus the head, barrels, clutch, starter and covers.  I'm 6 ft 2 inches, weigh 220 lbs and in good shape.

I have several restored bikes along with a 2006 Goldwing with a sidecar. My wife has a 2019 Suzuki DR 650 for on and off road.

He can handle the weight!

I've never seen that technique in a service manual or H&S video

How does he get the engine into its frame?  Limbo dance?

Without any question remove those exhaust studs before install! Wrap the frame with cheap hot water pipe wrap found at any hardware store.... then wrap with more tape around tight spots. It is a lot easier to remove tape than repaint or powdercoat. If you have the engine next to the frame and you stradle the frame you can lift engine on to the bike from the right side. I usually have my engine on a little roller stand sort of even with the frame. Ive done this several times alone. Just take your time and slowly ease it in. Did I say remove the exhaust studs enough times. Good luck!
