Camshafts B1 vs A1/3 was created by Bozo
I am using GPZ1100A1 to 3 model camshafts on my GPZ1100B1 Head. I have standard pistons, valves with APE springs. My Question is there any cam timing I have to do to use these camshafts. I just did an engine leak test and all four inlets are leaking and I want to make sure the cam timing is not the issue.

First Permanent ride the Z1R since Dec1977 (220,000km) as of June 2015
Second permanent bike 1989 FJ1200 dyno'd 140RWH, great bike.
Third ride is now the Frankenstein 1981 GPZ1100B1, 1983 fully recon motor fitted LOVE THIS BIKE
Forth my work bike FJ1200 1989 (same type as FJ above)

The GPZ1100A cams are 110 degree lobe centers as stock which is the same as all the others so that shouldn't be the issue.

Try lapping the valve seats,  worked for me, no more leaks.

Regarding 83-85 GPz camshaft use in KZ engines, consider the following post from one highly respected and sorely missed KZR forum member:
