 I don't think cam motion makes any motorcycle cams for z1/kz's any longer . :( ......... I posted the cam specs off of an old list I had so some one looking at used cams could have an idea at what they are thinking of getting or comparing to other cam shaft brands..... :S :pinch:

Hello the chart is really useful, one question where does it refers to the base circle? is 110? were it says center to lobe.

I grew up riding and fixing all sort of small bike until I inherited A 1977 GS 750 when I was 16, that changed my life completely I love metric bike and I own a few fully working and have some projects.

Hello the chart is really useful, one question where does it refers to the base circle? is 110? were it says center to lobe.

Just for reference I have a Z9 in my drag bike, it has a 1.040" BC. Most lower lift cams have a bigger BC - 1.070" to 1.110". A lot of the higher lift cams (+.500") will have a BC of 1.000" and sometimes less.

All I see on that chart is timing specs for a 110LC - This is to check a baseline setup and has nothing to do with the BC.

Here is a list of Cam Motion grinds for 900/1000/1100 that gives the Base Circle :

Z1 - .400 Lift, 1.110" BC - Duration 2xx'

Z2 - .385 Lift, 1.110" BC - Duration 258'

Z3 - .345 Lift, 1.090" BC - Duration 241' turbo cam

Z4 - .420 Lift, 1.110" BC - Duration 269'

Z5 - .429 Lift, 1.060" BC - Duration 252'

Z7 - .429 Lift, 1.060" BC - Duration 272'

Z8 - .455 Lift, 1.050" BC - Duration 271'

Z9 - .465 Lift, 1.040" BC - Duration 278'

Z10 - .485 Lift, 1.000" BC - Duration 272'

Z11 - .485 Lift, 1.000" BC - Duration 279'

Z12 - .485 Lift, 1.000" BC - Duration 260'

Z13 - .520 Lift,1.000" BC

Z14 - .507 Lift, 1.000" BC

Z16 - .490 Lift, 1.000" BC

Z17 - .485 Lift, 1.000" BC

Z18 - .485 Lift, 1.040" BC

Not sure where I grabbed this from but this is just for "reference" - All new or used cams must be measured to make sure they will work in your cylinder head.
