Wes Cooley was created by Dr. Gamma
Last week we lost Wes Cooley. Cooley was a two time AMA Superbike Champion back in the heydays of American Superbike racing. Wes got his start in AMA Pro Racing riding the Yoshimura Kawasaki Kz1000's. He switched to riding Suzuki's when Yoshimura became the factory Suzuki team in AMA Superbike racing. Cooley went back to racing for the factory Kawasaki team in 1983. Godspeed Wes...........

His achievement will never be forgotten. RIP to one of the best motorcycle racers of his time.

Finally found a good photo of Wes Cooley on a Kawasaki in my collection of photos I took back in the '80's!!!!!!
