That is terrible news. I'm pretty sure there was no one who contributed more detailed knowledge here than Larry. His posts are quite a legacy, not to mention all of the work he did. His memory will carry on in cyberspace for decades to come. Whenever someone googles how to setup a head, and one of his posts is used to do it right, that is part of the wake Larry leaves behind.

Ah, that's doubly sad as he had big plans for the future. Before he fell ill he was in the process of building out a dream shop and kept us all posted through his Facebook page. I'm sure he would have enjoyed the hell out of that new set up, and we all would have benefited. RIP Larry.

I met Larry a few years ago when he lived in Morgantown, WV. We hung out for a few hours just shooting the breeze. He was the no BS kind of guy we knew on this forum. He did my cylinder head for my project and he used pics of it on his website. I felt honored to have part of my bike as his part of his portfolio. He was truly an influence on my motor and the choice of motor contents. God bless you my friend. Forum never be the same. Tom

Just got my head back from Larry.Of course it came home the way I sent it back in December. We txt back and forth so I knew we were good.I can't believe he has passed. He was a book full of knowledge on these old Kaws.I have stage 3 B lung cancer and believe that helped us communicate.Even tho I never met him we spent hours on the phone with each other.

Larry's kind advice gave me confidence to move forward, and it still keeps me going.

Let's all endeavor by doing the same for one another.
