Kosman Racing is under new management. In discussion with the new owner (Robert), he has agreed to remake frame bracing kits for us...

Here's the link for the kit:
Frame Kit

Within a month or so, we should also have some motor mount kits to complement these bracing kits.

Tri,
the stock ones would have but I went with a C5 ignition and coils which won't fit with the bracing kit so I put them here

No, its not running yet but soon.

It is an old link. We quit selling these kits as Kosman is a totally useless company to deal with - we can get a better kit from Japan. Kosman are THE most disappointing company I have ever dealt with. Broken promise after broken promise. We placed an order for frame brace kits and motor mount kits. The caveat was they would provide both of them or we were not interested.. We received some of the engine brace kits and zero of the motor mount kits. We went to a tremendous amount of effort to provide them samples of all the Z1, KZ900, KZ1000 engine mounts so they could reproduce them. We have never received a sample from them, nor received our parts back. My last attempt to email and call them resulted in zero response.

That's a real bummer Jeff. As popular as these bikes are I can't believe someone does manufacture it.

I thought they were no longer available. At least it shows the points to be reinforced. It's missing a prime area, that's below the steering head. The Z1's and KZ 900 always cracked there thus that cheesy bracket. I beefed mine up long ago and plan on more. I've also been studying another frame.

I'm looking for another frame that has a inverted T in it below the steering head. Can't find it now.

So, Jeff, can you tell us more about your alternative kit? Is it listed on your website?
