Angry Harley guy

So I was at the gas station putting 87 octane which has 10% ethenol in my bike when this guy on a Harley rolls up and proceeded to tell they have 91 ethenol free on the last pump. I said ok thanks but I already started pumping. So he went on to tell him how I'm destroying my bike. So I told him I've put the 91 in and my bike doesn't seem to run well on it (which it doesn't) he told me he highly doubts that.
He's been riding forever and knows all about them.
So I told him I use stabil to help with the ethenol he went to tell me the sh** doesn't work and I'm destroying my bikes fuel system. So I told him I'll try the 91 next time just so I could end this conversation. He rode of all angry and in a huff.
Now if you want to give me advice with my bike I'll Glady take it I know I'm not an expert but don't tell me I don't know if my bike runs better one way or the other I'm riding it not anybody else. For me I would never tell someone what they should do with their bike. If you want to pour water in the tank and try to ride it I don't care it's yours not mine . And I will not get angry if you don't take my advice.

Never ever had any problems with any kind of fuel on any bike or car here in Europa (Germany)
We only get the "good go juice" here, it´s a must have Made in Germany Standard for the no Speed Limit highway Autobahn.
Some ethenol and water content is needed for the internal engine cooling.

Angry Harley guy probably doesn't even change his own oil

Probably not and only gets enough gas to take him up the street to the bar.

He's simply relaying what was told to him by someone else who was probably told by someone else and so on. World is full of those idiots. I'm like you I come to my own conclusions based on personal experience not by what someone tells me.

They generally don't want anything to do with me and I expect snarky comments from a lot of them.

I'm jealous you have access to 91 octane ethanol free. We only get 87 ethanol free here...
