I hear ya. I've been doing it since the early 70's. It wasn't illegal, they just didn't have a law against it.

I agree with you on this one, but there are those that seem this is a right to lane split, not a privilege. These are the ones that ruin it for other motorcyclists. I too do the 5-10 mph faster maximum that the cages, until I reach 75-80. Brightest headlight possible helps, but loud exhaust, and flashers, so nothing. Jut be careful and ride within your means. Never get comfortable. Ride because you like to, not because you have to,SWest wrote: A little progress but no speed limits set. I prefer no more than 5-10 MPH faster than the speed of traffic.
