Ride the 6 miles to work about 2-3/week. The rest of the time I'm driving my daughter to school. Getting her there with her backpack and viola would be a problem on the bike. Also have a nice covered patio to park on...especially nice during hail storms like yesterday!

PREVIOUS KZs: 1980 KZ750H with 108,000 miles; 1980 KZ750E with 28,000 miles; and KZ750H street/cafe project, all sold a few years back.
This is what I do for fun, not for work. It is art, with a little engineering thrown in.

I ride my KZ750H from Berkeley to San Francisco to work most days. It is just under 12 miles each way, with some of the greatest views anyone could imagine. A few years back I took some pictures along the way, and posted them on the old KZrider.com, but those are no longer accessible, so I will try to post them up here again.

I commute on my scoot every day I can.
30 miles round trip.
Once the temps get down to about 35~37 degrees F, is when I have to call it quits until spring.

I ride everyday, rain, sun, cold, warm. I don't have a car so I do whatever I can, switching between the 2 I have. Its a 6 mile run each way and sometimes I go other places. I would switch sometimes when one gets hot or I take the 1000 shopping andthe 650 on leisure rides.
