from the front after the first of 2o fill and sand steps.

To sand the dimple i wrapped a section of USD tube with rubber sheet and the affixed my sand paper to it to get a smooth cylindrical shape, this way i also use the least amount of filler to keep the weight down.

To be honest now that the final primer has gone on you can barely see the dimples and they work a charm, i have at least 20 degrees more of left and right than was there before.

If you're chasing the correct front geometry you may end up having to use/make/buy new triple clamps, they look like they are about 30mm offset, which is probably not enough offset...

One of the things Jon had planned for the bike was a hydraulic clutch conversion, i got my hands on a clutch plate but it had no spacers, so i cut a few out in brass cause...its shiny.. and ive used a nissin master and a Zxr7 slave, im  going to be waiting on a clutch line for a bit unless i cannibalise my bandit 1200 for its clutch line.

These are the numbers on the bike if you can make anything from them? I’m going to be changing the set up come the end of the year and she will not be a track bike not this side of never but I’ll be more interested in what’s not right and how to fix it for future projects that may well be more track oriented.

As pure coincidence the wheel base is the same as a stock kz1000 but im sure something isnt right as the back wheel is pushed away because of the slightly longer swingarm and the front is pulled into the bike because of the lower offset.

Glad to see you're getting this back in the road.

750R1 is right -  you likely need custom triple trees. 125mm is a lot of trail for a "sport" bike. thats more like cruiser numbers. If you go custom triple you can gain some ride height at the same time.
check out Fastec as well. they seem to have really good prices and they are in the UK.

To be dead on I need the triple clamp offset measurement, as it sits I used 30 degrees , and 27 degrees rake {stock} , with your other measurements I got 119.1mm of trail, the only way to get 125mm of trail was to use 28 degrees as a rake measurement and that's wrong.   I see you're using 365mm length shocks at the rear, I'm using the same, they jack the rear up a bit, so I reduced rake to 26 degrees to get 112.9 degrees of trail, then I tried 25 degrees rake {same as my bike} and came up with 106.7mm of trail, which is still a touch slow, but that's using the current clamps you have , well if they measure at 30mm offset, I didn't have your exact measurement so that's what I used... Get me the triple clamp offset and I'll see if I can work out the numbers so you can retain the parts you have, Ideally you want the engine in the frame, and a digital angle metre , they are magnetic, you can put on the steering head or fork tube {I use the fork tube} to measure rake, Its imperative to have accurate measurements to get this as close to right as possible..
