Here’s what I did. Last spring while refreshing the front end of my Kz1000 B2 I went looking for my best idiot light cover. Not thinking I went digging into the stashed Kz900 A4 parts. Now I don’t know which is the correct cover for my 900.
Sorry about the strange angle but it was the only way to not capture a reflection. The one on the right appears to have the letters printed on the inside of the bezel. On the left it is printed on the outside of the bezel. Which one is correct for the Kz900?

And I will get to Tripp on Monday. It's about 25 minutes from me. I'm going to have some old crap chrome stripped of some usable Z1-KZ engine covers.

How do I black back the plastic trim nut on the four way flasher. I’m sure I can restore the white paint on the top of the pull knob the way I did the recessed letters of the hand controls. FYI I soaked the trim nut in DOT 3 with good success until it dried out and returned to its faded gray current color.

My NOS exhaust is safe at home from Pennsylvania. It’s everything that I could ask for. Maybe too much. I’m having second thoughts. I want my bike as factory fresh as I can. But, as mentioned I don’t plan to sell it, I’m seeing other restored 900A4’s asking good money that have repop exhaust. Are the NOS better off stashed for a rainy day.

They could go for between $3,000 - $5,000 I bet!
But don't even put them on in the beginning at start up. I'd wait till the bike is all dialed in if you plan on using them. I'd go with doremi or sudco re-pops. Someone on FB a few weeks back had a set of Doremi's for $1000 bucks.
How many times have you waxed them?
