Thanks, but don't judge too quickly... trying to fit the guage cluster after the headlight bucket, things got a little tight. I had to move the mount holes forward and up for clearance. I used some 1/4" x 1" flat bar and made these.
I am not sure I like it. I am considering welding them, and making a cosmetic bezel to cover them up. The ignition switch is on a much lower plane with the Honda upper fork clamp. The stock plastic bezel may need some trimming to make it look cleaner as well. I doubt these two makes/years have been combined before.

Getting everything symmetrical is a PITA. The fact that I am a bit anal doesn't help! I told my wife I am not OCD, I am CDO.... it's similar, but all the letters are in alphabetical order like they should be!

Our arachnid overlords are really angry that I took over their colony, killing all of its citizens in the process...
I have never seen so many egg sacs in one place, when taking this bike apart. It was close to becoming totally reclaimed by nature. Good thing insects don't bother me!

Getting closer to roller status today. I decided to powder coat the rear brake stay silver, and this is the first time seeing it in place. Almost parallel to the swing arm brace - I didn't even consider that, but it looks good!

Great Garage, we got a little rain and +10 degree Celsius in Germany. Maybe the snow is coming in February here????

This a before and after view when I swapped the handlebar risers. The risers point inward more now, but the bar position is better in my opinion. More similar to the old superbike bars.

For those eagle eyes out there, the brake stay bolts are soaking in the rust removal. After finishing they will get installed.
