A year ago I acquired this cruiser with 17 k miles, working on it little by little, and buying parts to freshen it up and make it safe for the road, all ordinal except tires a kerker S&W shocks and Pull back bars that reminds me of a star wars characters ears. What Ive noticed,is all the rubber is in very good shape as if its been garaged for many years then sold. probably the carbs gunked up and wouldnt run right so it was parked outside for 10 years Until it became a sun blister, I went into the tank and pulled out the liner like potato chips... Its accumulate on the inside but still needs etched, the calipers are like brand new inside no corrosion and the chain looks to never been adjusted. The swingarm when removed looked as if it had never had grease pushed in it but still very little corrosion. Im impressed so far!! I checked the valves Good. Ive serviced the engine and put fresh carbs and it fired right up and idled beautifully. Currently waiting on getting rotors ground and drilled and continuing washing parts in a tub and hoping I wont find some thing that will break my heart, but then I do have a 900 motor with 20 k mi. so far im into it for under $500.00 titled and About the same in parts
