Finally had my stem bearings show up; should have front end on today, got the rear end buttoned up and picked up a 520 44t black sprocket for $15. Gonna order brake lines, the muffler, get the header welded up and slap on the radiator and coolant reservoir. Should have most of the mechanical portion done then its time for the gauge, headlight, tail light, fuel pump and the wiring harness.

Ordered brake lines, installed front and rear fenders, mounted battery box and radiator mounts and waiting on a few parts in the mail yet. Found the muffler i want to run so i'll be picking that up when i'm in tennesee next month. Have everything to put the bike together but still need to sort out the fuel pump set-up and get the bike on the dyno. Hoping to be riding by June 1.

ended up going a different route with the header set-up; originally was going to use the OEM one from my zx10 but ran into fitment and complexity issues so ended up snagging a titanium one for the the 03-06 z1000 for $100 off ebay and got it fitted but will have to do some fab to make the muffler section work.

Yeah, the #3 header tube is tweaked a little bit so gotta see if my welder can fix it up for me. As for the tube, i have a couple ideas but need some time to weigh the options. Without the bar there it makes fitting the OEM filter much easier, haha.
