The Tank turned out great, just light sanding off the original clear coat and apply the decals.
After that new clear coat and after a few weeks light sanding and buffing.

The side covers gave me the most problems.
Several layers of paint which did not work together and no option of using paint remover or the wire brush.
So I opted for a new solution, wrapping.
That was not easy but the results are great.
And with the leftover wrapping I did the front shocks.

So after 8 years the Bike is finally ready (will it ever be?)
I need to polish and clean the bike but I have to wait for the clear coat to harden.
But for now, here are the (final) results.

Thanks Wookie,

Almost done, only polishing and cleaning.
Wil make some better pictures after that.

And it was already BOTM a few years back

Geweldig mooie fiets geworden, maar klaar ben je nooit met deze motoren maar dat is ook een deel van het plezier. Succes en misschien komen we elkaar nog ergens tegen hier in NL.
HAPPY RIDING

A real BOTM bike build you did !!!
Have to ask, what kind of SS 4-1 header is on your bike (Delkevic)?

Sorry for the late reaction due to problems with the website.
But thanks for the kind words.
This forum was my inspiration to start my build and helped me out a lot during the years.

Scirocco, it is a Delcevic header with an “Ali” end
The piece in between I made myself.
