Sorry about the vertical camera angle. I don't own a cell phone and I am still new to taking videos with one.
My final sync is not this close as tiny changes made while tightening the lock nuts have big changes, but is better than it was. It is stronger off idle, and throttle response is more uniform. Much less noise from the primary chain knocking around.
I have idle set at 1200-1300 per the ND tach. I understand the FSM spec is lower however this is the lowest rpm I can get a somewhat smooth idle.
I achieved my highest idle with three airscrews at 1 turn in, and one at 1/2 turn in. I still get a cyl 3 backfire with the choke on, but no backfire with the choke off. The miss that I can't figure out is still there,
Rode to work today. It was about 50 degrees and I was able to come off choke pretty quickly.
I will check the new plugs soon.

They will, but they will all move by different amounts. After touching up the others one of them will have affected #2 and who knows where it will be then. I was just pumped to get 3 to read the same.
I am now in version 3 of my homemade tool. Perhaps my meter has some design flaws. I assume I would get better results with a Carbtune.

Good info. #3 is almost all the way open. The other 3 are nearly closed.
I need to inspect the linkage. Maybe the arm to the needle holder is bent.

 Ya I've been there. I tried a sync last year and forgot to tighten a couple needle holder screws. Took me a while to figure what the problem was.

I am using stock jets with the needle on the 3rd clip, Pod filters and stock exhaust.
If you look closely you can see the shoulder of the ceramic turning a light tan. I guess I should have left these in longer. They still look new.
