I have some patterns that I would like to practice, but nothing beats real training.
Definitely in my to-do's!
This is my build:

There are many more like it, but this one is mine... news to come!

I went there once, but seafood is not my thing..
They did get shut down due to droppings in the kitchen, but last time I passed by there, It was up and running again...
The video I shot is the stretch between A1A and US1 on Dania Beach BLVD. Very nice (but short) ride.

Great looking bike, but I want you to consider something.
Im 32 and hope I dont sound like an old man.
This summer I was on my bike and an uber driver blew through a light and hit me. Thankfully I was fine and the bike only had $100 worth of damage, but because I wasnt wearing gloves, I got SEVERE lacerations on one hand, down to the BONE. Mind you, I was only going 15mph when he hit me. I will have scars for life and it was VERY painful. The skin around my knuckles will forever look a mess.
Please consider whatever gear you deem appropriate, but I feel gloves are a MUST.
Safety, peace and blessings to you and your family!
This photo was taken 6 weeks after. still a mess

Funny that you should mention your injury as I have been wearing at least gloves, jeans, and helmet to go for my rides. I am also a proponent of ATGATT, but there are concessions I will make on 90+ degree weather.
I long for winter in Florida, so I can really ride ATGATT...
On a negative note, the float bowl height on my #3 carb was off, which combined with a faulty fuel valve resulted on about 1 gallon of gasoline in my oil.... :S
Gas spilled and ruined my tank when replacing the valve, which means I will have to re-paint my tank... :S
Will spend some time during thanksgiving break to sort out the carb...:S
Never ends... LOL!!

Sorry about the tank but after it is repainted get yourself some SprayMax 2K clear and coat it. It's impervious to gasoline.

+1 Make sure you wear a good respirator mask in a well ventilated area when using epoxy based paint.
