For what it's worth, on my 650 I replaced all my engine mount bolts (actually pretty much every external bolt and nut on the bike except for the fine threaded, which I can't find) with standard A2 stainless.......
Which ones are you missing in stainless? Ed
The dome nuts for the upper rear shock mounts, the lower triple tree clamp bolts and the steering stem top bolt - we're all metric over here so standard pitches can be found at any hardware store, but those are fine pitch and hard to come by in stainless. No big deal, I can get them in chrome, look after them and replace them if needed - I just happen to have a deep and passionate hatred for rust...
Back to the original topic, that optical ignition looks interesting, I'll have to look into that.

need to run my C5 ignition, but i may need to get a new advancer of ebay. Also when i pulled the starter I noticed the starter sprocket was not in there either, and the chain was hanging loose.... , i'm gonna pull every cover off this thing to see if there are any other surprises. I should have the jugs and head painted tomorrow which means the polished covers and stainless bolt kit will go on. :woohoo: Ive only got a week before I move to San Jose, and id like this thing rolling in the frame before i do as the project bikes wont be coming until I can find some better housing (read; a garage). I've never tried to find a apartment/house to rent from another state without being there, what a pain in the ass...
