i had to slot the mounting holes on the slave and bore the hole open to match the slave body but it was a straightforward deal.

Running good now. The bolt did not back out like I thought it did. I tightened the bolt so much that the disc ended up digging into the unit near the optical receiver. It shaved of a tiny bit of plastic and ended up covering up the optical reclever causing the ignition to stop working. I put a spacer in it and it's all good now. Over all I am happy with the bike. There will be a few tweets here and there but I am happy with it. I am really disappointed in the POR 15 engine paint, it is already changing color.

No the engine paint is changing color on the head.

these heads get really hot on the exhaust side.
i'd be surprised to find any coating that didn't discolor around the exhaust.

Well damn, I may have to just blast the paint off of it and leave it bare aluminum.

Or mask and spray it black. :dry:

No, that is part of the problem also is it did not prepare it correctly so the paint is chipping. It should have been sand blasted but I did not want to split the cases at the time as I thought I was still going to make the Flag Rally in CO. I soda blasted it as I knew the soda is water soluble and wouldn't have to worry if some managed to get inside the cases.

Was finally able to ride the bike to school tonight. Ran great, I am pretty damn happy with its performance. Now all it has to do is get me home

As mentioned a few days ago, I am posting the picture of my hydraulic clutch cover with the Yamaha slave mounted. The spacer setup allows me to move it closer by shortening them if need be as I haven't determined where the chain will run on my frame. I will likely need something around 3/8'-1/2" for a 180 sized tire on a zx600r rim. I had the face of the slave flattened for something I intend to insert there later. The clutch rod can be determined later and if longer than stock is needed can be made from 1/4" rod. The bottom hole where the shift shaft passes through has also had a bearing installed for smoother operation.
