update time again got some more done on her today took the carbs apart, cleaned the the port are nice and clear now. boiled my carb boots and it made them soft enough to work with for now so im gona boil them agian right before install. to save my wallet :evil: got the dyna coils wired up right. also found a new found love for plasti dip i got a can of flat black for 6 bucks today and look how awesome it is. :evil: the best part is if i dont like it at some point i can just peal it away hahahaha

but i needed to get this painted so i can finish up the wiring in the headlight bucket and what not. more things im going to paint later are the tops of the forks in the triple trees and the bottoms , front fender, the chrome caps on the speedo and tac, grab bar, and maybe rear shocks.
im also going to get a black 4-1 muff sooner or later

does any one have a carb spring that wraps around the boot. they could mail me. i found all but one. i know i could order one from z1 but i wanted to see who here might have one hanging around first.

so i put on the headlight bucket and have the carb boots in a pot of water on the stove so i thought i would start peoples day off with some photos while i wait. :woohoo:

the washer bolt head will be black or i might do a red and take off the holder again and do that red too

my mail lady was wonderful today she gave me a wonderful package and within 20min what was in side was installed now i think i can rest my head and call it a night got to be at work at 11pm like always

so ive got the wiring all done up and went to see if i had any lights or any power to anything and not a thing came on my battery is testing at 12volts. fuses are good. any ideas guys

Would check continuity of voltage to and from the ignition switch.

i used the color coded one in loudhvx sig. but i will check continuity

so while i was at work tonight i had my brother inlaw tackle the wiring again and this time the lights come on and it cranks and i have spark so after i get off im going to get some gas to see if she starts hell yeah :evil: why cant 7am be here already. if it runs u guys will get a video and if it doesnt u guys will get a video to help figure out why.

i heard it go putt putt but no fire i know its carb readjustment time. i will fight that this week end im also tring to make a water bottle gas tank for servicing the carbs with out the main tank on also still have to de rust the tank before i put it on any models you guys could show me.
