The photos of that honda... does it look like those mounts on the frame were there, or did he drill into the frame and mount them? Or did he weld mounts onto the frame so the actual frame wasn't molested?

That was some kind of mount location from the factory, on the Honda Rebel. I seen some other homemade ones for the Rebels mounted in the same locations.

I got my 16 tooth front sprocket and mirrors in the mail, yesterday. It dropped the rpm by 500 with the sprocket, now I'm not looking for 6th gear any more. The mirrors are surprisingly pretty nice billet aluminum , for $24 w/shipping. I was pretty happy with that ebay purchase. Here's a couple pics. I'm thinking about doing something different with the color and maybe a different tail piece (more like the kz style), what do guys think?

Take it from me cuz I found
If you leave it then somebody else is bound,
To find that treasure, that moment of pleasure,
When yours, it could have been.

Looks good! What did you do for an inner rear fender? I'm wreslin' with a couple ideas. I got a few 900 tails. If you want one to mess around with ya got it for shipping cost but I do like what you have on her too.

I used my original inner fender. I just had to make a new mount position, were I cut the frame off. I've got my original tail, because of the relocation it's not wide enough. I'm going to try and make one out of sheet metal or possible get some help making a fiberglass one. But thanks for the offer.

Got my forward controls and front forks painted. I paint the center cover on the front wheel, right side, red. I'm thinking of painting the wheels this color red. I've seen some flat black bikes with red wheels, that looked pretty good. It gives it the rat look.

Looks really good. Like the style it has. Amazing what some paint and little mods will do.

Thanks, what you think about red wheels? I know this is nothing like mine, but it gives you an idea.

i think they would fit the look you are going for.
but,
then you need some of that red and white hot rod pinstriping to bring the whole deal together.
imho,
