The guy that painted your tank is good but not good enough to know how to paint a bike tank Ive been throgh this heartacke
You gotta seal it b4 the inner tank get a knife or a razor and trim away at the overlap
if you dont do this youll be back at the paint shop
SEAL it b4 it gets to the gas
Looks just like mine used too b4 i had it fixed 17 times
the guy that painted your bike has no idea on how to paint a bike tank

Done! For now anyway, lol!
I spent the morning at a car show, then came home and started on the bike. I degreeing the cams (Andrews 1X), cleaning the fuel tank, set up the carbs, put the mirrors on, adjusted and lubed the chain, changed out the spark plug caps, bled the rear brake, re-checked all nuts and bolts, added a gel cell battery, installed the headlight, repositioned the clutch lever assembly and left hand grip, installed the kickstand, put a new petcock on the tank, replaced all hitch and cotter pins, aligned the front end, etc. Long day and just got done at midnight.

Thanks Ace! They are stock VM 26's and re-jetted for the altitude (I live in Colorado) and changes made. I may change them out in the future but mid-range useable punch is what I'm after here on this build.

Thanks Wireman!
Yanked the baffle (it was just too dman quiet), cleaned the K&N's, installed a relay and switch under the seat for a full 12+ volts at the coil and for the Dyna S, installed the Dyna S and re-jetted. The switch is just a anti-theft device. Actually, it's more of a "it'll take the bastard a few more minutes" device.
I'd like to find a big comp baffle for this but they are stupid expensive.
