Yes, the arm the linkage bolts to. You won't have enough leverage to apply the pressure you'll need to stop. At 6" it feels like your standard brake, but like mine, 4" you have to struggle some what to stop. The length you've got, will be a serious problem. You can wait till you get it on the road and see what I mean, but be careful.
