Got some parts from the painter today!!! :laugh:

The tank and the rear fender had alot of clumps in the clear So he is going to wet sand and clear them again.

I should see it all tomorrow and painting the racing stripes and wheels tomorrow after noon.

between me and my buddies we have painted 1 kz maroon with silver ralley stripes,one lime green with white ralley stripes,one safety orange with crown beige(forklift paint)ralley stripes,and one light blue with dark blue ralley stripes.besides for stock paint designs i like the ralley stripes,they seem to fit kz bodies real well.
don't forget to post some completed pics,

So I finally got my chain in the mail today... It is a RK, and it is a rivet style.
I have done some reading, I have a chain breaker and I have a link press. I also have a number of clamps and vises from 1" to 18" so no problem with compression.

Here's the question... Is there any way to safely rivet this thing closed with out the specialty tool?

I have the right length and the swing arm off so I can do it off the bike and on a bench. Any suggestions?

Depending on other people and companies can be so disappointing. The painter yet again didnt come through. Got to wait at least one more day...

Even if he was done, Krüger & Junginger still have not delivered my off set front sprocket yet...

Coming from over seas or not should not take a month to get a sprocket... My custom rear sprocket was at my door in 6 days and was a third of the price? I see alot of guys on here make they're own fronts. I dont have the resources to do that. Any suggestions to get front off set 10mm 19t 520pitch?
