I see you have serious project going on. Looks good.
I haven't changed some part like front fender, front rim etc. I guess I will get to them after I finish putting back together.

All in good time tybolt. If I hadn't decided to replace my suspension, I'd be doing what you are; repainting the steel parts and cleaning/polishing the aluminum pieces. Keeping it simple will get you on the road faster

Well I see you good project going yourself. Looks good.
Right now I am kinda waiting some resources to build up so I can get some parts.
Need to get jets for carburetor, rear fender, dyna-s, coils and wires and other little parts here and there.Biggest part will be 4/4 pipes and body set. I was going paint tank etc I have but found the tank is too rusty, had some holes rusted through.
Bike I started with was cheap but not that good shape, not complete. I had title issue as I stated in other thread.
Now I got a title for 74 that I turned in to DMV. Since it is more than 35 years old and out of state, they need to inspect a bike in working condition before they release a title to me. The frame is factory replacement frame so does not have VIN # on it. Because I am not going to sell it when I am done, I decided to go with green/yellow 74 color. It will be kind of messed up as title in 74, 74 color, motor and most part being 75. But I just keep and ride it so I guess it's ok to me.

After last post, decided to do top-end rebuild. More like "needed" to do so when I checked compressions.
Got one size over pistons, worked on the head with new guides, cleaned carburetors and replaced main and pilot with stock size etc.
Today started with lawn mower gas tank while synching carbs with vacuum gauges.
For now put KZ900 tank and old 4 in 1 pipe, then took it out for a ride. It ran pretty smooth and strong.
Oil is leaking from left side of oil pan. I need to drop the pan next weekend. The other issue is oil warning light. It stays off while at idle but comes on when it is revved.
But got it running, so I am happy for now.

Man, don't know where I've been but this is nice. Don't see enough of these put back complete, I see a center stand, and sprocket cover. Those thing are usually gone. I'm sure you'll get plenty of comments on the road as well as here. Be proud, you have a nice pc.

Its great to see you getting back to your project! Riding weather is here (at least it is in the southwest )...when do you plan to have her roadworthy again?
