I mentioned in either this thread or my overlapping oil ring thread that I put a bit of a gouge in the top of one of my cylinders, well here it is. I put the head on now so I will see how it will fare, do you think it will be ok?
Anyways, going to bed to watch some Dexter now...then read the Bourne Identity, L8er
p.s. I was reading about when I put the head nuts back in that the copper washers go at the corners where the oil stud galleys are. The manual says that if the washers are worn or damaged to get new ones as they act like a gasket. Could I reuse the old ones and dab a bit of gasket goo on them to seal the studs better?

crappy, I went out and bought new ones...ah well. Are there supposed to be washers under the bolts? the manual doesn't mention them
nope and dont go bannanas on em.... just snug em up good.....
