Sorry I have not been to the blog site to read the specifics.
Just wanted to say that I had to rewire mine and suss out all sorts of electrical problems.
Get a multimeter, you will probably need it.
Isn't the wiring schematic section in the back of that Clymer book in black and white? (black and white? waste of trees)
If so,.. there is a color coded schematic here at the KZRider site in the "KZ Information" area. It really helps when you are identifying electrical pathways and troubleshooting to have color.
I think that the plug in the headlamp housing from earlier posts might have been for the turn signals.
I am starting a project with another 77 C1 as of today, I will keep checking how you are doing.

i want to clean up and repaint the frame, check up on all things that might need replacing. i noticed some of the wiring was bad. I want to basically clean it up make it look and perform new and then bob it out
