Hi. Thanks for the support guys. Been trying to get all the little jobs done that seem to take ages with no visible difference. Had to do something about guarding the blower drive and a couple of my own attempts at making a guard just didn't look right so i've reluctantly opened up the original and rare bulky cast Drouin one with a few holes so the pulleys can be seen. Didn't expect it to look this good. Should have done it month's ago. The simple ideas are always the best i suppose ?

Levers and part of the pegs are bits of those fake yoshi ones's off evilbay. Levers have been modified with bronze bushes instead off the cheapo bearings and turned upside down. R/H Peg has been hinged with a spring detent so it swings up to clear the kicker and back plates are all my own doing.

okay zed1015 you are obviously a talented individual with a weakness for our particular brand of bike which is great.
but you can't do all this cool stuff that you have shown us without some cool tool's(my other fetish).so what are the chances you could show us pictures of the lathe, mill, shop (or whatever you are comfortable with)?
i could see the bottom of your lathe in one pic and can stare at machine tools for hours.
i have an old leblond regal that swings 17" and is 40?" between centers, and an old heald horizontal mill with a tree vertical attachment with an 8" rotab then the assorted welders, saws, benders and various other power and hand tools.

Well. Same as my old school rides my build methods are pretty old school too and very much hands on. Lathe is a Gap bed Harrison 140 metric with 11 inch swing (18in with the gap bed). No mill as yet but manage well enough with the lathe suitable jigged. 12 speed pillar drill and a vice. Most welding is taken care of with oxy/acetelene. (love gas for welding, been at it since i was about eight) but also have arc and mig which never gets used. Got ton's of hand tools, specials, and various home spun devices for trimming swingarm pivots etc.
